Welcome to Zurich! For the 16th time the Ironman returns to Zurich with 50 qualifying slots for the 2012 Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i. An extraordinary event at the wonderfull lake of Zurich.
Athletes will start their day with a 1.2-mile swim in Lake Stevens before taking on a challenging one-loop bike course that takes them on a scenic tour through Lake Stevens and the surrounding areas. The run course will lead athletes through the downtown area and along Lake Stevens.
Athletes will experience a 1.2-mile swim along North Beach in pristine Lake Michigan. Athletes will continue with a 56-mile bike course through the rolling countryside of Racine County and a flat 13.1-mile run through the Racine Zoo and surrounding Lake Michigan coastline.
The Ironman 70.3 Vineman Triathlon (formerly the Half Vineman Triathlon) consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run triathlon and is a qualifier for the Marines Ironman World Championship 70.3 at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, NV. This event has become one of the most popular and highly competitive triathlons in the world. In 2012, we will be limiting the field of entries to 2,300 athletes. (there is no relay option for this event)
The Ironman 70.3 Vineman Triathlon is held in Sonoma County, California (about one hour north of San Francisco). The point-to-point event begins at Johnson's Beach in Guerneville and takes entrants past hundreds of vineyards and dozens of wineries before it finishes up at Windsor High School in Windsor. The course is a tour of Sonoma County's beautiful wine country, passing through four different grape growing regions: the Russian River Region, the Dry Creek Valley, the Alexander Valley, and Chalk Hill.

Registration for the 2012 Ironman 70.3 California is now open. The race is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, 2012.
Ironman 70.3 California will offer 40 Age Group qualifying slots to the 2012 Ironman World Championship 70.3 at Lake Las Vegas, in Henderson, NV. Additionally, there will be a prize purse of $50,000 for distribution among the top professional male and female finishers.
Athletes will enjoy the calm waters of the 1.2-mile swim course in Oceanside Harbor, the tough one-loop, 56-mile bike course that includes the coastal beauty of San Clemente State Park and the challenging inland hills of Camp Pendleton 13.1-mile run through the coastal neighborhoods of Oceanside.
More than 2,300 athletes from 55 nations will face the challenge of the Frankfurter Sparkasse IRONMAN European Championship. 2,4 miles swim in Waldsee Langen, 112 mile bike in the surrounding of Frankfurt and a 26.2 mile run on the banks of Main River with a finish on the famous Römerberg.
Amica Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island is set in Providence, Rhode Island. The course utilizes a variety of Providence's scenic areas and downtown Providence. The journey ends with a finish line celebration near The State House.
The first ever IRONMAN 70.3 Norway/Haugesund will be held on July 8th 2012. Athletes will swim in Skeisvatnet, a small lake in the rural part of Haugesund, compete on the bike along the coastline of the North Sea and run through the town center before they finish at the inner harbor of Haugesund.
Athletes will begin with a 1.2-mile swim in the calm waters of Prairie Creek Reservoir. The 56-mile bike course takes athletes onto the Cardinal Greenway that winds throughout rural Indiana. The race finishes with a challenging run around the south side of Prairie Creek Reservoir over rolling country roads.
The Ironman Austria with its beautiful setting and perfect triathlon landscape attracts over 2000 athletes out of 50 nations every year. The Wörthersee with its crystal clear water offers optimal swimming conditions, the biking leads through the heart of Carinthia. The run course is totally flat.
